 Our band, Manitou Strings is looking for a new person to join us. We have had the pleasure of a lot of excellent musicians' company over the last five years. Life is uncertain, and transitory and though we have lost, we have also gained a wide net of really talented players. Each time I think OH MY GOSH! This is soooo good!!
The Colorado Springs music community has been good to us. During our hunt for our next newest member, I have had the pleasure of the support of many great local musicians, who will be helping out over the next few months: Bart Wachtler with Red Moon Rounder, Seraphima with The McDeviants, and Deirdre McCarthy have each been generous with their time and talents. Rehearsing with us, playing with us, and supporting us. I am deeply grateful. Josh Alford who has been "in and out" of the band due to his very demanding day job, will also be joining us this Saturday. Next week we will be at Armadillo Ranch for a late night gig, Thursday, 8 to 11pm (I consider this late night. LOL.) Friday we will be at the lovely Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort, 6 to 8 pm. We will be in the main lodge with a roaring fire. Join us. Saturday night, we'll be at Trails End Taproom, 5 to 7:30 pm. Would love to have you join us for any of these fun gigs.
