We are taking some time off in September to do "other things".....LOL....is there something other than music? Yes! Family and vacations and all of that stuff. We have two gigs in September. The first at the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort. It's their first annual "BuffaloGrass" Bluegrass Festival. Rooms are discounted. There will be great live music all weekend. Will you consider supporting this festival? Here are the details. We kick the festival off Friday, September 27, 3 to 5 p.m.
The next night we will be at Jack Quinn's with a fun twist on the Strings: it will be Joy and Deirdre and Josh A. and Bobby. We look forward to rocking it at Quinn's. 

Manitou Strings August schedule is OUT. Thank you once again for allowing us to play with you at all these great venues around town. Just want to give a shout out to Axe and Oak for having us EVERY third Friday of the month. We call it a residency and we love having the opportunity.

We are excited to be a part of the very fun Summer Concert Series at Bancroft Park in Old Colorado City. Bring a lawn chair and a little dinner and we'll have a fun evening together.

Manitou Strings bass player Joy Maples at the finish line of the Register's Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa. Seven days, and almost 500 miles and she will be ready to rock it next weekend at Jack Quinn"s.
